    "UN agencies must work together to fight hunger."
    In this interview Dr. Pedro Sánchez, Director of Tropical Agriculture at the Earth Institute of the Columbia University and Co-chair of the Task force on Hunger of the UN Millennium Project, shares with the UN System Network the way forward after the launch of the Hunger Task Force report. From Kenya he also talks about the work being done in a "Millennium Village" where the report's recommendations are being translated into concrete actions to fight hunger.

    In this interview Mr. Jacques Godfrain, President of the FAO French Association and former French cooperation minister, and Mr. Alain Pierret, President of the Interministerial Committee for Food and Agriculture, both acting as Co-presidents of the National French Alliance "Alliés contre la faim", talk about the recent creation of the Alliance and its activities during the Salon International Internationale de l'Agriculture in Paris in March 2005.
