FIVIMS launches a new web site highlighting timely country focused data
At its 6th meeting last June, the Inter-Agency Working Group (IAWG) on Food Insecurity and Vulnerability Information and Mapping Systems (FIVIMS), held during World Food Summit: five years later, the importance of having timely and quality information on food security and vulnerability in the fight against hunger was reinforced. One of the priority action areas emerged was that of renewing FIVIMS web Site. In spite of its lack of updates, this page used to receive thousands of visitors every month.
The FIVIMS Secretariat has just launched a new revised version, focusing on food security and vulnerability data at the national level and also on some themes related to inter-institutional cooperation.
